Bronze rating from EcoVadis for Resch

Right at the first attempt, Resch GmbH & Co. KG receives the bronze award from EcoVadis, the world’s largest rating agency for sustainability for the year 2023. We are very proud of this!

“For more than 100 years, our family-owned company has specialized in the resource-saving reprocessing of steel drums and IBCs. It has always been important to us to meet environmental and sustainability standards,” says Michael Resch, Managing Director of RESCH GmbH&Co KG.

Beyond the latest award, Resch is certified according to ISO 14001:2015 in the area of environmental management by TÜV Süd and is a BAM-approved manufacturer and reconditioner. This explains why many of the EcoVardis sustainability requirements are already integrated into daily processes and procedures, and why it was therefore possible to provide the required written evidence for the rigorous assessment process without much effort.

The certification is based on the following main categories:

• Environmental management
• Labor practices and human rights
• Sustainable procurement
• Ethics and integrity

The overall EcoVadis rating thus reflects the high standards of Resch’s sustainability management system. “However, we see it as a challenge for the coming years to take further measures for even more responsible action,” says Resch, looking to the future.
